MEETING WITH INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY

On March 05, 2025, the Faculty of Oriental Studies together with the Office of International Brand Marketing and Recruitment of International Students held an online information meeting for international students on the topic «Support and migration issues».

The purpose of this meeting is to facilitate the successful adaptation of students to the educational and cultural environment of Kazakhstan, as well as to clarify the rules of the migration regime.

Head of the Office of International Brand Marketing and Recruitment of International Students, PhD Zh.M. Tusubayeva told the participants about the university's internal regulations, the specifics of the educational process and support measures available to international students. Special attention was paid at the meeting to the issues of compliance with migration legislation. The head of the Office, PhD Zh.M. Tusubayeva also spoke about the rules of stay of foreign citizens in Kazakhstan. She spoke in detail about the registration procedure at the place of residence, visa processing, and also reminded about the inadmissibility of violating the migration regime. She stressed the willingness of the university's management to help resolve any issues that arise and drew attention to the importance of close cooperation with the faculty.

International students from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia and Bangladesh study at the faculty. Holding such meetings plays an important role in raising awareness of international students and creating comfortable conditions for their study and residence in Kazakhstan.
