February 15 – International Childhood Cancer Day 🎗️

This day is dedicated to millions of children worldwide who are battling cancer. Its goal is to raise awareness about childhood cancer, highlight the importance of early diagnosis, advanced treatment methods, and psychological support for families.

Cancer should not be a sentence. Within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal #3 (Good Health and Well-being), it is crucial to ensure equal access to medical care for every child, regardless of their place of residence or family income.

With students of Group Pharmacy 23-01, we discussed global challenges related to childhood cancer treatment, inequalities in healthcare access, and society’s role in supporting sick children and their families. We held a thematic session, explored stories of recovery, and talked about ways everyone can contribute – from charity to simply spreading awareness.
