Festive Concert for International Women’s Day at the Faculty of Physics and Technology. SDG 5

On March 8, 2025, the Faculty of Physics and Technology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a solemn event dedicated to International Women’s Day. Student activists organized a vibrant concert to express their gratitude and respect to female professors, university staff, and all women working in science and education.

The ceremony began with congratulatory speeches, in which students highlighted the importance of women in science, education, and society, emphasizing their contribution to the development of the university and their inspiration for future generations. Male students warmly congratulated their professors, wishing them professional success, well-being, and happiness.

The event was enriched by musical and dance performances. Students performed traditional Kazakh kyuis on the dombra, while female students showcased national dances, mesmerizing the audience with their grace and elegance. The evening concluded with heartfelt lyrical songs, filling the atmosphere with warmth and joy.
