Curatorial hour dedicated to the March 8 celebration on the theme "Great Women of Kazakhstan"

On March 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., a curatorial hour dedicated to the March 8 celebration on the theme "Great Women of Kazakhstan" was held in Room 414. Purpose of the event: To highlight and evaluate the role of women in the history of Kazakhstan across various fields.

First-year students delivered a presentation about prominent women in Kazakhstan's history. They spoke about Manshuk Mametova, Hero of the Soviet Union, sharing details about her short but heroic life and her ultimate sacrifice. The students also presented information about Gulsum Asfandiyarova, a medical worker whose family was later repressed. Additionally, they discussed women scientists who contributed to the development of biology and medicine, as well as their remarkable achievements in these scientific fields.
