On February 28, 2025, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a meeting titled «History. Reverence. Independence» was held with renowned writer and public figure Zeynep Akhmetova, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War and the 115th anniversary of Baurzhan Momyshuly. The event was marked by reflections on history, discussions of heroism and patriotism, and honoring the enduring legacy of our ancestors. The life of Baurzhan Momyshuly, a beacon for generations, is an inspiration, his legacy a testament, and his work a sacred trust passed down to future generations. During the meeting, Zeynep Akhmetova captivated the audience with heartfelt stories and touching memories of the legendary hero, sharing lessons that serve as a guide for young people. A human life is like a rushing stream – but unlike water that leaves no trace, a person leaves behind a meaningful path, a lasting imprint, and an example for future generations to follow. Thanks to his unwavering determination and bravery, Baurzhan Momyshuly remains an eternal hero in the hearts of the Kazakh people. His daughter-in-law, public figure, renowned writer, and promoter of national traditions, Zeynep Akhmetova, answered the pressing questions of young people and emphasized the importance of reconnecting with the spiritual roots of the Kazakh nation. By promoting Kazakh traditions and passing down our national values from generation to generation, this prominent figure’s works have become a spiritual treasure of the people, making a significant contribution to the upbringing of conscious youth. Every word of Zeynep Akhmetova carries the legacy of our history, serves as an example for future generations, and brings warmth to hearts. Her wisdom and the life lessons she has gathered are an invaluable treasure for all of us!
