On February 18, 2025, under the guidance of PhD in Philosophy, Senior Lecturer Alikbayeva M.B., first-year doctoral student in Cultural Studies Zheksenbayeva M.A. and third-year undergraduate students attended the play “Kelinder Koterilisi” at the G. Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth.
This performance raises issues regarding the role of women in Kazakh society, their rights and responsibilities, the conflict between family traditions and modernity, as well as problems of social inequality.
Through theatrical art, one can develop artistic perception and aesthetic sensitivity. Attending the theatre allows people to get acquainted with different cultures, traditions, and history, enhancing cultural awareness. Therefore, we recommend that all students turn theatre visits into a modern trend.
