Roundtable: "Are you aware of the dangers of tobacco and e-cigarette?"

On March 3, 2025 at 9:30 in the auditorium № 3 of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Care of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi among students of specialty “Public Health” was organized a round table on the topic: “Do you know the harm of tobacco?”. The event, dedicated to the realization of Sustainable Development Goal of Kazakhstan №3 “Good health and well-being”, was held under the guidance of the senior curator-educator of the Faculty of Medicine and Public Care G.A. Arynova. Balabek Perizat, a second-year student of the specialty “Public Health”, presented a presentation on the impact of tobacco on the human body. Second year students prepared informational materials and conducted a survey among their classmates. The round table on the impact of tobacco on the human body was held at a high level: it was informative and comprehensive. Students asked questions they were concerned about and received relevant information. Sanitary-educational work was carried out at the appropriate level.
