The UNESCO Department of Journalism and Communications, the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Donald P. Bellisario Faculty of Communications of the University of Pennsylvania (USA) launched an international student project

As part of the International Reporting course and in order to create videos with students on topics such as Gender equality, Nomad Clothing design, the Education System, geopolitics, etc., a delegation led by Kathleen O'Toole, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, arrived, where they visited the English group of the journalism faculty.

As part of this project, American students got acquainted with the university campus, culture, history, and traditions of our country.

They visited the KazNU History Museum, and conducted an interesting tour dedicated to the main milestones of the university's formation and long-term plans.

At the end of this tour, dedicated to the Day of "Korisu-Amal Kuni", a group of ART center students dressed in magnificent national costumes performed in front of the guests, and a photo session was organized.

International students, impressed by the traditions, color and style of our people's clothing, expressed great gratitude to the university staff for their hospitality.
