Event «National Games – A Valuable Heritage of Our People»

As part of the “Nauryznama” decade, on March 17, 2025, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Faculty of Higher School of Economics and Business, the Department of «Business-technologies» organized the event «National games – a valuable heritage of our people». The event took place in Dormitory No. 16.

The main goal of the event was to promote the national games of the Kazakh people, instill national values in students, and encourage a healthy lifestyle among young people. As part of the event, students showcased their skills by participating in various traditional games.

This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4 – «Quality Education» and Goal 3 – «Good Health and Well-Being». The event contributed to strengthening national values among young people and increasing their physical activity.

National games are a precious heritage of our people, passed down from generation to generation. Such events help the younger generation preserve and honor the traditions of their ancestors, ensuring their transmission to future generations.
