On February 11, 2025, in honor of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the senior curator of the department, Sholpan Tletaykyzy, held an educational session with the "Data Science 24-01" group on the topic "Science – a World for Women Too." During the session, information was provided about the role of women and girls in science, followed by discussions and debates. This law was adopted in 2015 by the UN General Assembly's resolution to support the equal participation of women and girls in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, as well as to promote their achievements.
