On March 12, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies held a career guidance event at secondary school No. 177 at the address: Zhetysu district, Kokzhiyok subdistrict, 63 Almaty. During the event, the students were provided with information about the specialties of the university and the faculty. Specially prepared booklets are distributed, the specifics and possibilities of the specialties are explained. In addition, the 3rd year students of the Cultural Studies specialty prepared a presentation and answered the questions of the participants.
The event was organized by senior lecturer, PhD Kaupenbayeva S. M.,
Doctor of Philosophy, Professor K. M. Borbasova. During the meeting, the students received detailed information about the professions they were interested in, and received career guidance in the fields of cultural studies, religious studies, and Islamic studies. This measure helped future graduates choose a profession and determined their future professional orientation.
The event was held at a high level and received positive feedback from the participants. The organizers plan to continue such meetings in the near future.
