Iftar for Students in Honor of "Körisu Küni" and Ramadan

On March 14th, the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies of the Faculty of History at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a traditional Iftar (Auyzashar) for students residing in dormitory №10 and fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event was timed to coincide with the celebration of "Körisu Küni" – "Amal Merekesi," which symbolizes the beginning of spring and renewal. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, students were able to break their fast together, socialize, and spend time with each other.
The organizers emphasized the importance of holding such events to strengthen unity among students, support those observing religious traditions, and promote national customs and values. The Iftar served as a platform for cultural exchange and contributed to creating a favorable atmosphere within the student community.
