Educational initiatives and career guidance

As part of the program, the Head of the Department, Akmaral Argymbayeva, held a career guidance session with high school students at the B. Beisekbayev School-Gymnasium. Faculty and students introduced the pupils to the opportunities available in chemical sciences, including secondary raw material processing and the importance of implementing environmentally safe technologies.

Special emphasis was placed on the popularization of science among youth. The students were shown simple but engaging chemistry experiments and were informed about educational programs at Al-Farabi KazNU, scholarship opportunities, and ways to participate in student research projects. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 4: "Quality Education," fostering interest in science and technology careers among young people.

The management of "NeoCarbon" and the school administration highly praised the students’ contribution to promoting environmental awareness and educational motivation, expressing their intention to continue cooperation in the future.
