Ecological action "Taza Kazakhstan" was held in KazNU

Kazakhstan's President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, emphasized at the IV National Kurultai that a country can only become truly civilized if cleanliness is an integral part of its culture.

-"Taza Kazakhstan' is not just a campaign limited to cleaning streets and yards. This initiative has the potential to influence our national identity and transform the appearance of the entire country. I would like to emphasize that one of the key features of 'Taza Kazakhstan' is the purity of consciousness and soul. Spiritual purity is a crucial factor in determining the quality of a nation. In other words, our traditional religion is meant to positively influence the formation of a new national character", - said the Head of State.

The clean-up event as part of the "Taza Kazakhstan" campaign is aimed at improving the appearance of the university and fostering an environmental culture among students and staff. The event was attended by faculty members and staff of KazNU, as well as students from 16 faculties.

They were involved in garbage collection, tree planting, tidying up sports and educational grounds, as well as improving green spaces.
