A Journey Through Time: Discovering Cultural Heritage

On March 16, 2025, third-year students of the "6B05103 – Biotechnology" program, accompanied by their curator-advisor, Sh.M. Yrgyngbayeva, embarked on a captivating journey through the centuries—an excursion to the State Museum of Almaty.

From the very first steps through the museum halls, they were transported into the atmosphere of the past. The pages of history unfolded before their eyes: exquisite jewelry imbued with the spirit of antiquity, traditional national costumes that brought ancestral traditions to life, and grandiose models of ancient cities that seemed to open a gateway to another world. Among the most striking exhibits were ancient artifacts, each carrying echoes of bygone eras and preserving the memory of great events that shaped Kazakh culture.

This trip was not just an educational outing but a true immersion into the roots of their heritage. Every exhibit told its own unique story, reminding them of the rich legacy Kazakhstan proudly preserves. At the end of the excursion, the students eagerly shared their impressions, discussing the significance of culture in every individual’s life.

Thus, what began as a curator’s hour transformed into an inspiring journey through history and tradition, leaving the participants with vivid emotions and a deepened desire to explore their cultural heritage further.
