А curatorial hour dedicated to the Nauryz holiday

On March 18, 2025  with students of the 1st year, specialty "Biotechnology", groups 24-05R, 24-06 R a curatorial hour dedicated to the Nauryz holiday was held.

The purpose of the event is to evaluate the role of the Nauryz holiday and get acquainted with the history of this Spring Festival.

The 1st year students made a presentation on "The history of Nauryz holiday".  Nauryz has been celebrated for more than 5,000 years. This holiday reflects the reverence of nature and ancestral spirits. Rituals of purification with water, fire and smoke, planting trees, honoring springs and commemorating the dead demonstrate faith in the animateness of nature and connection with the spiritual world.  The students told that the Nauryz holiday is of Iranian origin, as well as about the history of Nauryz celebrations in Kazakhstan.
