An open lecture and seminar on the topic "The Role of the Russian Orthodox Church in Kazakhstan's Society.

From March 18 to 20, an open lecture and seminar were held for 3rd-year students of the "6B02203-Religious Studies" program on the topic "The Role of the Russian Orthodox Church in Kazakhstan's Society. The Relationship between the State and Catholic and Protestant Churches."
Intern Kalyakbar U.N. during the lecture thoroughly covered the issues related to the Russian Orthodox Church, introducing students to important literature on the subject. To engage the audience, an interactive quiz was organized using the Kahoot application. The scientific supervisor of the doctoral student, PhD in Law, Professor Bishmanov K.M., was also present at the lecture, where he evaluated the content and shared his opinion.
During the seminar, students were divided into groups, which conducted a comparative analysis of the role of the Russian Orthodox Church in society and determined its significance. In addition to theoretical materials, each group was provided with questions based on specific situations, to which students quickly responded and engaged in discussions. The interactivity of the educational process increased student activity and contributed to the development of their critical thinking skills.
At the end of the seminar and lecture, the participants shared their opinions, noting the relevance of the topic and its impact on their professional training.
