Caspian Sea biodiversity conservation discussed
Within the framework of the 14 Sustainable Development Goals-Conservation of marine ecosystems under the leadership of Associate Professor of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development, c. b. s. Mukanova G. A. 1st year PhD students of specialty 8D05205 - "Geoecology and environmental management" Sarsenbayeva G. B., Alimuratkyzy A. during the teaching practice, a joint round table was held with 2nd-year students of the specialty Ecology. The event was dedicated to the theme "Preserving the biodiversity of the Caspian Sea".
During the event, students were provided with information about the ecosystem of the Caspian Sea, the importance of preserving its biodiversity and current environmental problems. The participants listened to reports and exchanged views on the impact of anthropogenic factors on the marine ecosystem, measures to protect rare and endangered species.
This round table is aimed at improving the pedagogical skills of doctoral students, increasing students ' interest in environmental issues. Such scientific and educational meetings contribute to the deepening of knowledge in the field of environmental protection and professional development of young environmentalists.
