A round table "National clothing – a mirror of our culture"

On March 18, 2025, Philos.candidate of Science, senior lecturer Alikbaeva M. B., 1st year doctoral student of the Department of Religious Studies and cultural studies, specialty Cultural Studies Zheksenbayeva M. A. held a round table "national clothing – a mirror of our culture" among the staff of the construction company "Qazaq stroy" in the framework of one of the goals of Sustainable Development-"Quality Education", "Partnership for Sustainable Development".
National costumes of Kazakh culture, formed in connection with the nomadic way of life of the Kazakh people, natural climatic conditions and historical traditions. Kazakh national costumes, including capes, camisoles, shirts, and hats, serve not only decorative elements, but also functional purposes.
During the round table, the diversity and beauty of our national costumes, traditions and rituals of wearing them, reflecting the richness of our culture were demonstrated through the presentation. It was also noted that it is important to preserve and modernize our national costumes, promote national values among young people, respect and develop our cultural heritage.
