Meeting with Unfinished Doctoral Candidates at the Department of Sinology

On March 27, a meeting was held at the Department of Sinology with doctoral candidates who have not yet defended their dissertations. This event was aimed at discussing their research work and exchanging opinions on their fields of study.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department, Yerzhan Abdirayimuly Kerimbaev, the Deputy Head for Scientific and Innovation Activities and International Relations, Aizhan Syezdkizy Koibakova, as well as former doctoral candidates who have already graduated.
During the event, Aizhan Syezdkizy introduced the participants to the composition of the dissertation council established at the faculty and provided insights into recent changes in the rules for awarding academic degrees. Former doctoral candidates shared the key findings of their research and their future plans.
Head of the Department, Y. Kerimbaev, highly praised the achievements of the doctoral candidates in their research activities and wished them success in defending their dissertations.
As a result of the meeting, doctoral candidates gained a clearer understanding of the rules regarding dissertation defense. Such events play a crucial role in enhancing the academic potential of young researchers and supporting their scientific achievements.
The Department of Sinology plans to continue organizing similar meetings regularly to support doctoral candidates.
