In accordance with Goal 3,4 of the SDGs, “Quality Education,” on 20.03.2025, the Department of Economics held an educational event on the topic of “National Food” within the framework of the ten-day “Nauryznama” celebrations among 1st and 3rd  year students of the 6B04109 – “Digital Economy” program. The purpose of the event was to introduce students to the history and traditions of the Nauryz holiday, its cultural significance, and to foster respect for national heritage.

         During the event, students learned about the origins and symbolism of Nauryz, its importance to the Kazakh people, and the traditional customs associated with the celebration. Special attention was given to national cuisine: participants learned about the main dishes prepared for this day, such as nauryz kozhe, baursaks and other festive treats.A discussion was also held on the role of Nauryz in modern culture and its significance for society. A thematic presentation was presented during the meeting, including interesting historical facts and illustrations that enriched the discussion. This event allowed students to immerse themselves in Kazakh traditions, expand their knowledge of national culture, and encouraged respect and a desire to preserve cultural heritage.
