A landmark event in the field of artificial intelligence took place in Almaty Almatyfair.ai , which was attended by a scientist from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The forum gathered leading experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, and representatives from government and educational institutions to discuss the current challenges and future prospects of AI technologies.

One of the key events of the forum was the panel session titled "Education for Women in AI: New Opportunities in the Digital Age", which featured Madina Esimkhanovna Mansurova, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data at KazNU, and Project Leader of the program-targeted funding project "Creation of a Large Language Model (LLM) to Support the Kazakh Language and Technological Progress" at KazNU.

The goal of the project is to create a modern large language model (LLM) that supports the Kazakh language as the state language and a language of intercultural communication in Kazakhstan, contributes to the development of technologies, ensures data security, advances education, and improves scientific research. The development and implementation of digital solutions based on LLM open up new opportunities for the growth of Kazakhstan's businesses.

During the panel session discussion, participants addressed the following relevant issues:

  • What opportunities does AI open for women's professional growth?

  • What prevents women from mastering new technologies?

  • How can obstacles be overcome to ensure equal access to education in the AI field?

Madina Mansurova emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive educational environment, supporting women in the tech sector, and integrating AI solutions to expand opportunities for learning and professional development.

Almatyfair.ai is designed to strengthen Kazakhstan's position as a center for artificial intelligence development in Central Asia, bringing together leading experts to address pressing issues in technology and education.
