Gulzat Kanatovna Kairanova, lecturer of the Department of Fundamental Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, participated in the 3rd "India – Central Asia" Youth Forum as part of the youth delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held in the Republic of India from March 22 to 28, 2025.

Gulzat Kairanova’s candidacy was nominated by the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the official program, the delegation held meetings with high-ranking officials of the Indian government, including the Minister of External Affairs and the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. Discussions focused on strengthening youth exchange, implementing joint projects, promoting sustainable development, and fostering intercultural dialogue.

The delegation also visited one of the country's leading technical universities — the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi (IIT Delhi), where participants explored advanced approaches to engineering education, digital technologies, and startup culture.

In Goa, the program included visits to historical and cultural landmarks such as the Aguada Fort, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, and the Mandovi River. The delegation also met with volunteers from the Indian youth movement MY BHARAT and the Governor of Goa, gaining deeper insight into the region’s socio-cultural landscape.

Participation in the forum became a valuable contribution to the development of international youth diplomacy, the expansion of academic and cultural horizons, and the strengthening of partnership ties between Kazakhstan and India.
