Key issues of the National Kurultai were discussed
At Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the event "The Future of Kazakhstan: Unity, Development, and Modernization" was held, dedicated to discussing the 4th National Kurultai with the participation of the Head of State, K. Tokayev, in Burabay.
The meeting was attended by the university administration, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev, professors, teachers and students.
Speaking at the meeting, Malik Nurzhanuly addressed the issues raised at the National Kurultai.
"Recently, our President responded to the public's concerns about tax reform, which was a pressing issue for them. The primary challenge they faced from the outset was the principle of law and order. The President places special emphasis on the need for the tax system to adhere to the rule of law. This should be the position of every citizen of the country", - said the advisor.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, outlined the key tasks and pressing issues raised by the President at the National Kurultai. "Providing young people with quality education and encouraging their active participation in the country's development is one of our main priorities", - said the rector. He also emphasized the importance of strategic development and strengthening national identity.
At the meeting, scientists and faculty members compared their research and experiences on issues of political and economic development, reforms in education and science, and the preservation and promotion of national values. They also shared their opinions on the relevance of these issues and possible solutions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, university scientists expressed their support for the decisions of the National Kurultai and their willingness to provide scientific and expert assistance in their implementation. They emphasized the strategic importance of education and science for Kazakhstan's sustainable development.
