Cooperation with universities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, met with the Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Saleh Fahd Albedah.

During the conversation, the sides discussed issues related to further strengthening and expanding cooperation between universities of the two countries.

Welcoming the honored guest, Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the partnership has been steadily developing in various areas. The rector also expressed a desire to intensify cooperation with Saudi Arabian universities in the field of science and higher education.

«В КазНУ имени Аль-Фараби функционирует Центр арабоведение. В дальнейшем предлагаю совместно с данным центром проводить различные конференции и симпозиумы. Также приглашаю профессоров университетов Королевства Саудовская Аравия прочитать лидерские лекции», – сказал Жансеит Туймебаев.

In turn, Saleh Fahd Albedah highly appreciated the achievements of KazNU in science and education and expressed confidence in the further development of partnership between the two countries. "We intend to strengthen our partnership with Kazakhstan in any field. In particular, we hope that cooperation in the fields of science, innovation, and technology will continue to grow. This will allow both countries to elevate their relations to a new level", - said the Deputy Ambassador.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to develop partnership in all key areas.
