Career Guidance Work of the Teaching Staff of the Department of Language and General Education Training for Foreigners at Al-Farabi KazNU

The student admission process at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) begins with career guidance activities actively conducted by the Department of Language and General Education Training for Foreigners. These activities aim to leverage the potential of international students enrolled in the preparatory faculty, who, after completing their language training in Kazakh or Russian, wish to continue their studies at universities in Kazakhstan. 

To support this goal, curators and advisors organize various events, including advisory sessions, discussions, and guided tours of the KazNU museum for international students at both beginner and advanced levels. During these events, curators and advisors provide information about the prospects of further education at Al-Farabi KazNU. 

Currently, KazNU is focusing on expanding its scientific research activities, transforming from a traditional higher education institution into a research center. From their first year, students will not only gain theoretical knowledge but will also have opportunities to participate in scientific projects, conferences, and publish their research work. Science is the future not only of Kazakhstan but of the entire world.
