KazNU and Almaty City Akimat Held Forum "Integration of Science, Business, and Production"

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the forum "Integration of Science, Business, and Production," which was organized for the first time, jointly organized with the Akimat of Almaty city. The event was attended by Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dossayev, KazNU Chairman of the Board – Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev, experts in ecology, environmental protection, seismic safety, innovative companies, research communities, and business representatives.

Prior to the forum, participants visited the Farabi Hub innovation center showcasing the Kazakh-Chinese Laboratory for Remote Sensing Technologies, the RoboMech Robotics and Mechatronics Center, ZTE Innovation Center, chemistry laboratories, and other high-tech projects. Additionally, attendees viewed the university’s supercomputer cluster, the master plan for KazNU’s second construction phase, and various innovation exhibits.

During the plenary session, Yerbolat Dossayev highlighted tasks related to urban infrastructure, ecology, and digitalization, emphasizing the President’s initiative to establish a "scientific city." Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev discussed opportunities for integrating KazNU into Almaty’s innovation ecosystem and commercializing scientific research.
