SDG 14. Conservation of marine ecosystems

On April 4, 2025, as part of the university-wide cleanup initiative at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a campus clean-up event was held at the initiative and organization of second-year students of the “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” program. The event was supervised by the group advisor, senior lecturer of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory, M.S. Mukhatova.
During the cleanup, the university grounds were tidied, litter was collected, and trees and greenery were cared for. The students actively participated and contributed to improving the surrounding environment. This initiative aimed to foster students’ ecological awareness and to strengthen collective responsibility and teamwork.
