Meeting of the Scientific Student Club

At the meeting of the Scientific Student Club, led by G.T. Yesengeldieva and E.M. Zholamanov, participants discussed the role of R&D (research and development) in international innovative business. 

A report was presented by Valerie Lis, a third-year student majoring in Digital Economics. She provided an in-depth analysis of the significance of R&D in modern companies, its impact on competitiveness, and its role in the global economy. The presentation covered key aspects, including: 

✔ The contribution of R&D to the development of innovative technologies and products. 

✔ Investment trends in scientific research across different countries. 

✔ The impact of research and development on business sustainability and the creation of new markets. 

The meeting was attended by third-year students specializing in Digital Economics. During the discussion, participants examined case studies of leading global corporations that actively invest in R&D and explored the prospects for innovative business development in Kazakhstan. 

Special attention was given to the connection between the topic and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 9—"Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure." Participants discussed how scientific research contributes to the creation of advanced industries, enhances the technological level of the economy, and supports the development of sustainable infrastructure. 

R&D is the foundation of future economic growth and technological progress. Investments in research and development play a crucial role in shaping innovative business landscapes.
