A Great Scientist and Talented Organizer of the Kazakh School of Catalysis

Today marks the 115th anniversary of the birth of Dmitry Vladimirovich Sokolsky — a great scientist, founder of the Kazakh School of Catalysis, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, professor, laureate of the State Prize, and Hero of Socialist Labor.
His name is forever inscribed in the history of national science. Thanks to Sokolsky, a powerful scientific school was established in Kazakhstan, nurturing generations of talented chemists.
He was not only an outstanding researcher but also an inspiring mentor, a science organizer, and a person of rare dedication to his work.
His bright memory lives on in the hearts of his students, colleagues, and all those who continue his legacy.
