A lecture on the topic “AIDS – The Plague of the 21st Century”

On March 25, 2025, a lecture on the topic “AIDS – The Plague of the 21st Century” was held at the Department of Biotechnology as part of the project “Culture of a Healthy Lifestyle”, in accordance with SDG 3 (Target 3.3) – Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages. Objective of the event: to raise students’ awareness of the HIV/AIDS problem, foster a responsible attitude toward their health, dispel common myths about the disease, discuss preventive measures, and emphasize the importance of a tolerant attitude towards people living with HIV. During the event, students presented engaging reports and presentations on topics related to HIV/AIDS, its prevention, modern treatment methods, and social aspects of the issue.
