Global environmental problem: glass waste

On April 2, 2025, first-year master's students of the Marketing program held an important round table on the topic: “Global environmental problem: glass waste”, dedicated to one of the current environmental problems - the impact of glass waste on the environment. This event was held within the framework of SDG 15 - Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

Teachers, students and public activists of the Department of Business Technologies exchanged opinions on the processing of glass waste, modern methods of its utilization and ways of sustainable development. During the discussion, special attention was paid to the issues of forming environmental awareness, developing a culture of responsible consumption, as well as the introduction of effective methods of glass recycling.
