From April 3 to 5, 2025, the international conference of students and young scientists “Farabi Alemi” took place. Students, master’s and doctoral candidates, and young scientists from Kazakhstan and foreign countries were invited to the conference.
On April 4, at the sectional meeting, 4th-year student of the educational program “Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications” Kudaibergenova G.B. won 1st place with her presentation on the topic “Earthquake Early Detection Device in Almaty” in the section “Radiophysics and Electronics. Astronomy,” and then won 1st place at the faculty level.
In her work, she proposed a device based on a neural network that can detect the first seismic waves and provide timely warnings to the population. The work is aimed at improving seismic safety.
