"A Home of Wisdom — A Path to an Enlightened Society Through Science."

On February 14, at School-Gymnasium No. 148 of the Almaty City Department of Education, a meeting was organized as part of the ten-day event titled "Towards the Digital World with Profound Knowledge," initiated by the Department of Natural Sciences. The meeting was held under the theme "A Home of Wisdom — A Path to an Enlightened Society Through Science."
The aim of the scientific and educational event was to emphasize the importance of knowledge and science for the younger generation and to stimulate the intellectual development of school students.
The event was attended by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Geography, Land Management, and Cadastre of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Geographical Sciences Saghymbai Ö.Zh., and Senior Lecturer of the same department, Master of Natural Sciences Shaikyslan E.Sh.
During the meeting, scientific projects of students from different classes engaged in research activities were presented to the participants. Additionally, students had the opportunity to ask the visiting scholars questions on current issues in the natural sciences that interested them and received comprehensive answers from the academic guests.
The school’s geography teachers — Onlanbekova A.O., Ismailova A.A., and Yesimova M.D. — noted the significant interest of students in the field of geography.
Senior students were provided with detailed information about the department's educational programs: "Geography," "Cadastre," and "Land Management."
At the end of the meeting, the school's talented students performed songs and dances, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere.
