On April 4, 2025, a weekend tour trip took place to such sites as: "Black Canyon", "Lakes Kolsai and Kayyndy" with a PhD, professor at Salem State University (USA) Stephen Yang and the 2nd year doctoral students of the educational program "8D01503 – Geography".
During the tour, Professor Stephen Young and doctoral students discussed the geographical features of Kazakhstan, the history of the city, landscapes and the development of rural and educational tourism. The professor shared his experience in conducting climate change research and studying natural and geographical resources. 
Overall, the trip was a success, the professor was impressed by the beauty of our nature, and the doctoral students had a great opportunity to discuss the research topic.
