Keeping our surroundings clean is a duty

"Cleanliness is the beginning of the threshold", says folk wisdom. Responsible attitude to the cleanliness of the environment is the duty of every citizen. Within the framework of the "Taza Kazakhstan" campaign, a large-scale environmental campaign "Zharkyn kuz" was held, organized by the mayor's Office of Almaty.

In accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs-3 – good health and well-being, SDGs-6 – clean water and sanitation), the teaching staff and students of the Department of pre-university training of the Kazakh National University, among them blood youth, took part and showed activity. Also, singers of Abai Kaznpu, K. Satpayev Kaznrtu, "Alatau" theater of Traditional Arts took part in the cleaning, and planted 1,500 seedlings in the new ALA Park in Alatau district.

Such measures contribute to the formation of a friendly attitude to the environment and an ecological culture, which encourages us to keep our environment clean and not throw garbage anywhere.

Almaty is our common home. Let's keep the city clean. We urge residents of Almaty, especially young people, to clean up the city and preserve the environment.
