Professor Madina Mansurova, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, participated in the II International Symposium titled “Kazakh Language – the Language of Science: Artificial Intelligence and Terminology,” held in Turkistan from April 2 to 4, 2025. In recognition of her significant contributions to the development of the Kazakh language in the fields of science and technology, she was awarded a special certificate.
This symposium served as a major platform for addressing pressing issues at the intersection of language and technology, aimed at expanding the scientific and professional use of the Kazakh language. Presentations during the event focused on terminological standardization, the integration of national concepts into AI systems, and the advancement of language policy and scientific communication.
Professor Mansurova shared her expertise and research findings in these areas, receiving high praise from the academic community.
More than 200 scholars and experts from Kazakhstan and abroad took part in the symposium. Discussions across five sections covered new ideas and proposals in the fields of linguistics, digital technologies, terminology, and language studies.
Such international gatherings are essential steps toward strengthening the status of the Kazakh language as a language of science and raising it to new heights.
