Advanced 3D printing technology

8 april, 2024

New 3D printing devices from bamboo Lab (A1 mini) and Anycubic (Photon Mono 2) were purchased for the University.

According to experts, the main features of bamboo Lab 3D printers are faster printing than traditional FDM-printers. It has the ability to print up to 16 materials in one session and uses an automatic material feed system. It also integrates artificial intelligence.

According to experts from the Faculty of chemistry and chemical technology, LCD/Resin printers using photopolymer resin (for example, Anycubic Photon Mono 2) are distinguished by high resolution and accuracy. Such a feature makes them suitable for creating complex models, miniature and high-precision parts.

From now on, students of the Faculty of chemistry and Chemical Technology of the specialties "pharmaceutical production technology" and "Chemical Technology of organic substances" will have additional competencies in the use of advanced advanced technologies in the field of 3D printing. We would like to emphasize that this is a unique opportunity to improve professional skills and apply modern methods in educational and research activities.
