students visited the G.Musrepov Theater

8 april, 2025

Associate Professor of the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry Beisembayeva L.K. together with 2nd year students visited the G.Musrepov Theater to see the play "Bolmagan balalyk shak". The memories of Akberen Elgezek's youth resulted in an autobiographical story, which was called "Bolmagan balalyk shak" - "Childhood that never was". It contains the author's assessment and attitude to the most dramatic period of his life. Director Ali Bidakhmet treated the material with great care, precisely checking the necessary accents - in his production, individual episodes from the hero's life are subtly woven into a single dramatic canvas, which keeps the audience in suspense throughout the entire performance. The director, as well as the leading actor Kazybek Amanzhol, managed to convey all the author's super-tasks and, most importantly, his sincere desire for today's children to have a happy childhood. The play begins with episodes from the childhood of the boy Akosh in a distant village. Carefree games with peers are replaced by scenes when the boy gathers his friends around him and they listen to his stories. However, behind these seemingly peaceful scenes hides the difficult fate of Akosh. The fact is that he lost his father early and was given to be raised by nagashy - relatives on his mother's side. He grew up with his older sister in his grandmother's house. After some time, his sister left for school in the city.

The boy becomes attached to his grandmother, who surrounds him with love and care. But soon this dear person was gone, too, and another huge loss occurred on Akosh's so far short life path. In order to feed her children, the mother had to marry a stern herder. The man turned out to be cruel, did not accept his stepson, and oppressed the poor child until he moved in with other relatives on his father's side. However, the drama in the stepfather's house does not end there. He had a habit of drinking heavily. When drunk, he became uncontrollable. One of those days, he rushed at Akosh with a knife. The boy's mother got it too. She, fearing for her son's life, sends him to a relative in Almaty. Akosh's life continues in this city. True, he still admits that the trials were not without benefit, they hardened him.

Over time, Akosh will grow into a venerable writer, public figure...

The theatre artists amazed with their excellent performance and received a stormy ovation. When watching the performance, you become a participant in the ongoing creative process, because theatre is a living and constantly changing art.

The performance found a lively response from the students, the fate of the main character made them think about the meaning of life. Such visits to theatrical performances play a significant role in the development of spiritual and moral qualities of the individual, in the formation of aesthetic taste and interest in artistic and creative activities.
