An open lecture on "The History of the Kaaba and Hajj"

On March 20, 2025, an open lecture on the topic "The History of the Kaaba and Hajj" was held at the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, within the framework of the "Zakat and Hajj" course.

This event was organized as part of the pedagogical practice of S.B. Malikov, a first-year master's student in Islamic Studies. Faculty members, doctoral candidates, and master's students were specially invited to attend the open lecture.

The lecture covered the historical and religious significance of the Kaaba, its place in Islamic history, as well as the stages and historical evolution of the Hajj pilgrimage. The audience was provided with comprehensive information on the spiritual and cultural importance of Hajj for the Muslim community.

The scientific and practical supervisor of the event, PhD M.A. Jüzei, highlighted the student’s thorough research of the topic and his ability to present his ideas in a systematic manner. He also praised the student’s preparation and emphasized the importance of such events in developing the scientific and pedagogical abilities of graduate students.

The open lecture took place in Room 125 of the Faculty of International Relations, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event was organized at a high level and received positive feedback from the participants.
