"The Importance of Mathematics in Our Lives and Its Role in Science"

To help determine career choices, a survey was conducted among students.
Purpose: to identify personal interests and inclinations toward various professions, to broaden understanding of the world of careers and their specific features, and to prepare students for making informed career choices.

As part of fostering different types of activities that influence internal psychological and social significance, as well as developing respect for labor and the ability to independently and consciously choose a profession based on personal qualities, a seminar was organized by the Department of Applied Mathematics and the Mathematics Association.

The seminar, titled "The Importance of Mathematics in Our Lives and Its Role in Science," was held on March 4, 2025. It was conducted with the participation of lecturers from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and provided a wealth of useful information.
