The students of group 22-6, majoring in Mathematics, planted trees in front of the faculty building

As part of an environmental initiative and in celebration of the arrival of spring, the students of group 22-6, majoring in Mathematics (advisor of the group - Sultangazieva Zh.), organized a tree-planting event in front of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.

Working together, the students planted several young trees in front of the faculty building. The idea for the event emerged during an extracurricular student meeting and received support from faculty members and the administration. The students believe that such actions not only beautify the area but also promote a sense of responsibility toward the environment.

According to the participants, planting trees is a symbolic step toward caring for the future, the climate, and our shared home — planet Earth.

This student initiative directly contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 13 – Climate Action and Goal 15 – Life on Land. Tree planting helps combat air pollution, improves the local microclimate, and contributes to the development of sustainable urban ecosystems.
