A young KazNU scientist shared his experience

Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Deputy Director of the Research Institute "Ecology and Sustainability of Bioresources" Zhandos Tauanov took part in the First Republican forum "Young Scientist" dedicated to the Day of Science in Astana.

The forum delegates discussed proposals to strengthen the country's scientific potential and promote scientific communities, as well as ways to address pressing issues from a scientific point of view.

At the forum, Zhandos Tauanov made a presentation, shared his experience in science and spoke about the importance of foreign internships and postdoctoral studies within the framework of the Bolashak program.

Zhandos Tauanov, a young scientist, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), presented his scientific project on the use of nanomaterials obtained from man-made waste for water purification. He also noted the importance of the project for young researchers and international cooperation.

In his report, the speaker focused on KazNU's initiatives aimed at supporting young scientists. At the university, within the framework of the Young Scientist 2025 project, 32 young researchers were given the opportunity to implement their research projects. In addition, scientific clusters such as "Farabi Hub" and "Farabi Chem Science", a technopark, as well as a number of research centers in the field of remote sensing, robotics and green technologies operate on the basis of KazNU. These centers provide young scientists with a favorable environment for the implementation of scientific ideas, the development of start-ups and the preparation of international publications and patents.

In conclusion, Zhandos Tauanov proposed to hold the next II forum "Young Scientist" on the KazNU campus.
