On the Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Farabi Álemi – 2025” at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics

From April 3 to 5, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Farabi Álemi," which became a significant academic event uniting young researchers from universities across Kazakhstan. The conference was organized with the aim of supporting and developing the scientific potential of students, master's students, and young scientists under the age of 40 (SDG 4 – Quality Education).

The conference featured sectional sessions across various scientific fields, covering both theoretical and applied aspects of research. The working languages of the event were Kazakh, Russian, and English, ensuring broad international participation and open scientific dialogue (SDG 17 – Partnership for Sustainable Development).

At the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, presentations were delivered across nine sections, encompassing a wide range of scientific areas – from differential equations and theoretical mechanics to robotics and actuarial mathematics. The section "Mathematical Modeling and Computational Mathematics," organized by the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling, brought together young scientists engaged in relevant issues of applied mathematics, numerical analysis, computer modeling, and algorithm development.

Within the section, presentations were delivered on a variety of topics – ranging from modeling of mechanical systems and biomedical processes to the development of intelligent data processing algorithms, analysis of nonlinear system stability, application of machine learning, and creation of digital solutions for applied problems. Participants presented original scientific approaches, experimental results, and software developments, which sparked active discussions and exchange of ideas.

The Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics expresses its gratitude to the participants for the high quality of their work and active involvement in discussions, highlighting the importance of the "Farabi Álemi" conference as a platform for scientific growth and academic exchange among young researchers.
