Scientific relations with universities in Malaysia

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received a delegation led by Vice Chancellor, Rector of the University of Malaysia Sarawah Ahmad Khata Rasit.

The honored guests visited the KazNU Museum, met with the university administration and exchanged views.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev spoke about the activities and achievements of KazNU, noting that the educational institution closely cooperates with universities in Malaysia in the field of science and education.

"Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Malaysia is at a high level. Currently, the educational institution has close relations with 8 universities in Malaysia. I believe that today's working visit to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will give a new impetus to the development of bilateral partnership. We are ready to strengthen our partnership with the University of Malaysia Sarawah", - said the rector.

In turn, Ahmad Khata Rasit thanked the leadership of KazNU for their attention and expressed confidence in the fruitfulness of mutual partnership. He also provided information about the activities and history of the Malaysian University.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects and initiatives.
