A round table dedicated to the circular economy was held at the HSEB with the participation of one of the leading experts in the industry

On April 9, 2025, a round table on "Circular Economy in Kazakhstan: trends and prospects" was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The event, organized by the Department of Finance and Accounting, discussed key issues of implementing the principles of a closed-loop economy, responsible production and sustainable development in Kazakhstan. 📊🌱

The round table was attended by representatives of the scientific and professional community, including Evgeny Mukhamedzhanov (founder and head of the ECO Network project)

The speakers presented both theoretical research and applied cases, from the possibilities of anaerobic waste treatment to a systematic analysis of circular business models in Kazakhstan's realities.

The event was part of the AP19576593 grant project aimed at exploring the potential of responsible manufacturing in the context of achieving SDG-12.
