SDG 10: Distributing water and dates to the fasting person is a rewarding act

During the month of Ramadan, the moment of breaking the fast is a particularly important moment for the Muslim community. At this moment, a sip of water and a handful of dates are the key to great reward.
One of the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) states: “Whoever breaks the fast of a fasting person, he will have a reward equal to that person’s.”
Therefore, distributing simple water and dates for breaking the fast is a good deed that anyone can do. This act softens hearts and increases unity and charity in society.
In order to implement this noble initiative, Turken Gulzat, a lecturer at the Department of Computer Sciences, and his group of students prepared water and dates near the university during the breaking of the fast and distributed them to the fasting person.
Distributing water and dates is a small act, but it leaves a big impression on the heart. This is a way of spiritual education and reward.
