Geo-Energetika Center is 15 years old

As part of their pedagogical training, first-year Master’s students in “Mechanics and Energy”, Begimbekova R. and Karlina Ye., organized a scientific-methodological seminar on April 10, commemorating the 15th anniversary of the Geo-Energy Center.

The participants of the seminar were 2nd- and 4th-year bachelor’s students majoring in “Mechanics”. During the event, the history of the Center, features of the double-degree Master’s program with French universities, information about scholarships, internship opportunities, and learning the French language were presented. Particular emphasis was placed on how the program contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education, sustainable energy, and global partnerships.

* Agnès Bousset — Director of the Geo-Energy Center;
* Yerzhan Belyayev — Coordinator of the double-degree program;
* Roza Sabirova — Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics;
* Dinara Turalina — Head of the Department;
* Aiym Kereikulova — Graduate of the program.

At the end of the seminar, students asked questions of interest and received clarifications regarding the conditions of participation in the program. The event became a platform for open dialogue between students and representatives of the Geo-Energy Center.
