Dias Alimbetov – Semifinalist of the IV Farabi Forum Startup Incubator

A solemn closing ceremony of the IV International Farabi Forum was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event featured the best student innovation projects.

One of the most outstanding participants in the startup incubator competition was second-year student Dias Alimbetov from the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine, and Neuroscience. He is studying in the Neuroscience educational program.

His project focuses on developing neurotraining techniques using biofeedback and electroencephalography (EEG) technologies. The goal of the project is to reduce stress and enhance cognitive functions through non-invasive methods.

The project sparked strong interest among the forum’s expert jury and participants, demonstrating great potential both scientifically and practically. Dias's presentation became a vivid example of successfully combining cutting-edge neuroscience with an entrepreneurial mindset.
