Success of a young scientist: Anatoly Raiymbek - 2nd place winner at the Farabi Alemi conference

A first-year doctoral student of the Department of Biology and Bioresources at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specializing in "Geobotany," Anatoliy Raymbek demonstrated an outstanding performance at the international scientific conference "Farabi Alemi" and was awarded 2nd place. In addition, he received a monetary prize of 50,000 tenge.

The young scientist's research interests and directions include:

• Studying the dynamic changes and floristic composition of the small river basins in the West Kazakhstan region;
• Analyzing the plant biodiversity along the Zhaiyk (Ural) River;
• Geobotanical assessment of regional flora and analysis of ecosystem characteristics.

To date, he is the author of 6 internationally published scientific articles and 2 educational-methodical manuals.
